I apologize it's been forever since our last post but this has been one crazy fall season for our family! Our official October numbers were: #12 for girls, and #13 for siblings. But there has been some major movement and a flurry of referrals in the past 2 weeks, so as far as we can calculate we should be....#7 (yes 7!!!) for girls and #10 for siblings! Those are "unofficial numbers," but we don't care! (This just means that we haven't gotten our official update from our agency yet). The sibling list has been moving pretty slowly and the change in our numbers on that list is due to the families who were on a single child waiting list receiving their referral, not because siblings have been referred. It's not looking terribly likely that we'll receive siblings at this point, but we know that God knows best for our family.
We continue to ask for your prayers. That God will continue to grant us patience and trust in His timing... That God will begin to prepare the heart of our little one for her new family...That our little one's birth family will fully experience God's presence and peace in their decision... That the entire referral and court process will be smooth...That our current children's hearts will be prepared and ready to love and welcome a new sibling...That no matter what, God will be glorified!!!
Here we come baby girl!! We pray for you daily. For your health, for your safety, for your mom's safety, that you will know the love of Jesus from day 1, and that you'll be safely in our arms as soon as God sees fit. You are loved. You are a daughter of the King. You have a purpose. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He grant you peace.
